A weekend of Blue Skies

Saturday was a beautiful clear day. Good time to be outside in the crisp fresh air. We went up Fox Mountain to find a cache for Mike. Then we jumped the fence and barbwire into this field, the boys all wanted to have there picture taken..........hahahaha, Of course I made them, they never want to have their photo taken.
While C was walking further away into the field...I ask L to hold out his hand. This way the result. We all killed ourselves laughing....C had no idea what we were laughing about until I showed him the photo. This shot of C was before he decided to walk away into the field. He got this Toque/hat on Friday night while we were downtown....it actually suits him. We thought that we might have to retake this shot at a later date , Mike thinks it would be great with a shot gun.
And this one of L. Mike held the reflector for me...yes , we are all blind now. Nothing like burning your retinas out with a silver metallic disc.
And a closer shot.
And this was from last weekend out by Dugan Lake. The cache was called Moose Meadow. Pretty place with cool bullrushes..
Note: only pull bull rushes apart outside in a well ventilated area. The fuzz gets everywhere, and it is hard to get off clothing.
And I sat on the ground to shoot this...yes directly into the sun....do not look directly into the sun...it will also burn out your retinas.
We have had 2 beautiful fall weekends .....until today. Dark and dreary was the forcast ......
AND SNOW!!!! So much for the fall colors. it was pretty while it lasted

LOVE that perspective shot! What a riot!!! Your cattail shots are really neat, too--how fun that you call them bulrushes... I really like the backlighting, even if your retinas are burnt. Sorry to hear about your snow. They're forecasting it up in the mountains this week...
