Another trip to PG

We travelled back to Prince George last weekend. This time so Mr. C could play soccer with the 12 year old boys development team. He played 3 games and had a great time. We stayed with Glen and Nancy again, I know they are sick of us now , so we will give them the rest of the summer off...haha. Thank you for having us, feeding us and putting up with us! We really appreciate it. Oh and Uncle Glen makes good burgers! Watch out Martha Stewart!
First shot is C and Bud...I think they are best friends
And all the dogs together in one shot...we will have to try this again, we needed treats!
Poor dogs didn't have a clue why they had to sit and stay.
And a front shot of Chloe jumping...she looks like a bunny, those big ears flapping...so funny
And the reason we went to PG for a second weekend in a row. The boys played Haidi Gwii, the queen Charlotte's. How cool is that?
And a couple more action shots of Mr C. Thanks Auntie Nancy for coming to watch it was great to see you.

C is finishes school on thursday. House soccer should wind up by mid july and then we can relax a bit.

Dogs and OLD men...haha

On the weekend, we stayed with Nancy and Glen. We weren't there much , but it was so wonderful to have a place to come back to and relax! Their yard is wonderful (except for the mosquitos!) But the dogs didn't mind. Mr C had a great time playing fetch with the 6 dogs!! And our dog Chloe.
Here is C and Buddy running through the yard

And here is Dakota...he is the keeper. The keeper of little dogs. He followed Chloe where ever she went. Such a kind and gentle dog.
Chloe doing agility??? Anything for a treat!! C thinks we should do this with chloe full time...how will we fit in the soccer?
And a Shot of Uncle Glen (standing) And Dad at the soccer fields. Yes , it was that exciting! haha Ok I have to do laundry, I'm sitting here eating a Mars Bar for breakfast! (thanks a lot Grama) it's really good with my cold coffee

See you again this weekend Nan and Glen...THANK YOU!

We are home!

The kids are exhausted. They played 3 games saturday and one this morning. They won 2 , tied one , and got their butts kicked by Prince George (no suprise! PG beat everyone!) Here a pic of L with the ball, he deeked around the yellow boy and took the ball up the field , he played well this weekend , but he is disappointed with himself and the way he played. We all think you did a GREAT JOB L!!! Don't be so hard on yourself. And this is SOOC! And my favorite shot of the soccer weekend!! There is 16 young boys , joking , laughing and being goofy.....I bet you would never know that they just lost a game 8-0! I'm so proud of these kids. They are a good group of boys, and you can tell by their faces that IT WAS JUST A GAME!!! And even though they lost, it really didn't matter! That is why I love this shot!

Auntie Nancy and Uncle Glen...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We had a great time, And Mr C is trying to figure out how to build Chloe some agility stuff..hahah
Grama and Grampa...It meant the world that you meet us there. Even though we hardly had time to visit....I know the boys were thrilled to see you both.
I have tons of soccer photos and some with C and the dogs...maybe tomorrow...I'm tired tonight

What I did this week

I drove out to the 153 Mile Ranch and took photos of the beautiful Ms. E. There was tons and tons of mosquitos.Mr C came with me and was my assistant, he did a great job. It was really fun, E was a great sport and her mom Rox let us do what we wanted. We saw a black bear in the bush and the hay fields were lush and green.
I have never done this before , but I'm pleased with the results. I know a bunch of you have seen these, but I thought I'd post them here.
Now we are off to PG for soccer this weekend. Uncle Glen we are coming to see you....bwahahah

Random stuff

This was on Saturday night, Uncle Jay showed up (friday night) to watch the boys play soccer. What a great suprise for them. They played the best games ever and I didn't even take my camera....I'm kickin' myself now!! Here is the goofs on the front lawn. And Mr C..posing for a picture Finally. I think this was last Thursday....please help me I don't even know what day this was. I love this shot
And this is Mr L's science class at scout island. They went for a field trip to learn about water filtration , or something to do with the city works water treatment. I met him down there and had lunch with him and Laureen, then Laureen and I went out chasing ambulances....well...fire trucks. I'm sure this was Thursday...because I was at track all day Friday.

Some of the girl accidentally fell in the lake...yah right

Track and field

I have watched , 100 meter, 400 meter, ball throw and triple jump. I must say that I really enjoy watching all the sports the boys do. And I get to practice moving subjects..haha. This is C (of course). The whole jump..each part. It was fun to see all the boys try to remember the steps. They all did great...now back to soccer this week. The weather has cooled down somewhat, it's in the 20's now, last week it was 30+(90F).HOT!!

A little update

Let's see....what have we been doing? Well , soccer is pretty big right now, but you all knew that. We play soccer 6 nights a week...and this week C has elementary track and field. So after school we go to those events before soccer...today he is doing ball throw...he hurt his foot (someone stepped on him at soccer) so he has given up his position for high jump and 1000 meter. Tomorrow is triple jump and friday is 100 m and 400m... it's another busy week. In the last 4 days we had 5 soccer games. I worked sunday morning at the Children's festival in the local park until noon...and then Mike and the boys came and saved me ! HURRAY!!
Then we went and checked out the car show! That was fun.
I thought that Dad would love these shots. I actually asked the owner if I could hope in the vehicle (an old chevy truck) to take the shot of the gauges.
And the vintage fire truck...cool eh?
Ok ...gotta run!!
