Dust , dust and more dust!!

I am so sick of the DUST in our house. And it is still winter! We expect there to be dust in the summer, we have a dirt driveway. But there is still 2 feet of snow in the yard.
Long story short....Ok shorter..haha......
We decided to rip out the carpet and put in laminate. There will be less dust and less cleaning.

This shot is Mike pulling out the ugly built in china cabinet that I hate. Mom ..you will never have to clean it again....Waa Hoo!!
But wait, while were at it..lets get rid of the ugly wallboard too...hmmmm
So we spent all weekend ripping out the carpet, riping down the wallboard , re -insulating, and drywalling. Everyone helped. Mr C ripped out most of the carpet with Mike , we all pulled the 3 inch staples...from the walls and floor.(seriously...why 3 inches! 2 would have worked fine) Both boys helped pull out and re-insulate, and used a can of monofoam ....Yikes!

So , I will keep you updated. How did DUST, turn into a this! We have the drywall up and mudded (I did that today, just the mudding). So now, sanding, prime and paint...and then we can lay the floor. It will look so nice when it's done, but right now , it's a huge mess
