A Hunting we will go

On Saturday we spent the day hunting. Not for animals , we were looking for tupperware in the bush. Mike and his geo-geek friends( I mean this in a nice way) , had set up a caching event. They started at 9:30am and went until 4pm. We were given 2 pages of co-ordinates and off we went. Some of the caches were small...very small and the others were large. I think my favorite was the Lord of the rings cache. Grinder G had set up (decorated) a tree with plastic halloween themed rings. It was so cool....and we were First to Find, so we got to take the PRIZE. Loved the idea that G made a whole tree as the cache...I should have taken a picture.
This is where we were looking for a cache by "Iron Horse", we found the cache. It was evil!! The entire ammo box was filled with glass beads (about 150 of them)...and only 12 of them had clues (coordinates) to where the cache was hidden..It took forever to sort through the beads to figure out the puzzle, and then the coordinates were in the exact spot that we were standing...that was just Bad..haha.

Here is M , right where the cache was hidden, what a beautiful place!
We had a great day! And a wonderful lunch , thanks to Chilcotin Sam and Rallymaster.

Love the first one--I can almost hear the leaves crunching underfoot as they run. Your colors up there are gorgeous this year!!

Looks like you guys are having a pretty fall this year! Even though the reds are gone it's beautiful! Your kind of hunting sounds like lots of fun! Just being in the woods with the family... and the camera is FUN!
