Winter is Here
Well, winter has arrived. We shouldn't complain, it has been such a warm fall. The snow is coming down this morning and I guess it's time.
A couple shots of the Thickle seed plant in my front flower bed. The gray background is the siding on the house...these are kinda dull and blah....but the days are gray and the warmth seems to be gone....too bad. Time to get the winter coats out.

Shannon, these are WONDERFUL!! I love the clarity you have in the ice drops--I can see the bubbles and "veining". The second shot, where the ice is nestled in at the junction of all those stems, is really cool! I am hoping for at least some frost this year...
