A weekend in Vancouver

Another quick trip to Vancouver , so L could go to camp. The weather was beautiful.
After camp on Saturday, we went across the NEW Golden ears bridge over to Maple Ridge to visit with Dorothy and Glenn. Sorry Dorothy , I lied! Yes I'm posting your picture on the internet. It was so nice to get to see you both, It has been toooo long!And a couple from the beach. C standing on the rocks with the city in the background.

And of course a shot or two before we left Jason's. Thanks for letting us stay with you. I told you if you were stupid , I would post it!! You just don't listen!

For Penny and Mom..random stuff

I see that all my stalkers (the two of them) are complaining that I haven't posted since September 2nd...so here is a bunch of random stuff...seriously random. I haven't been shooting much. So this is a blue bowl, filled with water and oil...I thought....actually I wasn't thinking , but it made a pretty pattern on the white paper...haha And these are from the Tyrell Museum from our holidays, I still have tons of photos to go through, I'm just not that into it, right now.

And some stuff I was trying to do for stock pictures..supposedly Christmas is only 3 months away...did I just say that.. YIKES!

And we went and picked Corn a couple weeks ago. It was really fun, and the corn was so sweet, we ate it raw. MOM...the corn that I blanched is yucky, I think I will have to de-cob it and find something to use it for.

And a chipmunk in the backyard, there is 3 of them...a mom and 2 little ones that chase each other around.

So that is about all I have. I really need to get motivated..ha , like that is gonna happen

Boys of Summer

There is one week, only 7 days left of summer vacation. It is winding down, getting the school supplies ready, new shoes and back to a routine. I can't wait!! Sorry, but it is true. It has been a long , hot , busy summer.
This is from last week , I followed C around the front nine at the course. Man that kid loves to golf!
And this one of L, from our trip to Chilliwack, on the weekend. Soccer , soccer and more soccer! He loves it more than food.Eat,Breathe , SOCCER! The team placed 2nd and came home with cool silver medals . Check out the flattened ball on that boys leg...OUCH!

So my mom doesn't complain....

This is from our holidays, I'm still going through photos. I think it might take awhile. This is L , holding the sun for me. My son holding the sun..cool eh? I really like this shot, because he did it for me. What a good boy!!
That's it, I just wanted to share this one. I have so many pictures that I love ...from our holiday this year...Mostly of the boys and Mike, and a lot of scenery :)

ELEVEN, how did that happen?

On August 18th, at 5:55pm.....you were born. You were 10 days overdue! I was so glad you decided to grace us with your presence. And Dad and L were thrilled to meet you. Dad and L had really bad hair cuts...yikes!
And this was just a couple weeks ago in Sparwood, the original shot with Dad..you were just about one..Look how you have grown!

And you, me and L on Sunday. You are just about the same height as me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY C!!! I love you! Aren't you glad I didn't post the fatty pictures...I might still post the ones with the rolls....how did you get so skinny? :)

Happy Birthday Grama Grace

Today is Gracie's 90th Birthday! We were there 2 weekends ago to celebrate with her. She is an amazing person. She has the best stories, the ones that I now pass on to my boys. I love the story teller in her.

One of her gifts was a digital photo frame. My Auntie Deb and Uncle Jim, scanned a ton of old photos and new photos onto the frame. I think Gram was Amazed that all these old photos were in that magic box. We sat for about 5 minutes watching , and the whole time Gram was telling us a story about the old pictures

I wish the focus was better in this shot...grrrr! Jay on the left , Gram and Troy on the right. It was a quick snap shot...I wish I had taken more time because I love this picture.

And all of the Dvorak's who were there. Try to get a group shot of everyone looking..Yikes! This against Gram's house in the backyard. Wish Ryan and Korynn were there...then all of us would have been there.
