Tuesday night ...relax

No soccer! that would be Tuesday night. Every other night and weekends , we spend at a field watching kids kick the ball around, sometimes 2 different fields on the same night. We are eating lots of sandwiches...because it's hard to pack a cassarole to the field...hahaSo we went to the river valley, Mr C wanted to find a garter snake. No luck it was too cool for them that evening. So the dog got a nice walk and we all got eaten by mosquitos. I took some photos of stuff and we relaxed.

And then the rain started...I sat by the pond until I couldn't stand the mosquitos anymore, watching the ripples the rain was making....Who takes random photos of a pond , in the rain....to look at the ripples.....ME. (I'm easily amused)

My mom has a camera...

But we don't have to like it!!There is some inner recentment in these photos, can you tell! I like them anyway..lol

And a couple of really bad soccer shots! L and A fighting for the ball. They are both on the rep team and they did this the whole game. I'm sure they were trying to see who got called for being in each others faces!!It made for fun watching
OMG! C looks ill, but he's not...it was so bright out. Everything is blown out, but these were the first games that both the boys have played, so I wanted to share. Orange is not C's color!

Jump Rope for Heart

C's school participates in Jump Rope for Heart (the Heart and Stroke Foundation), each year. The kids all get pledges and jump from 1pm to 3pm. They move to different stations . Inside and outside the school. This year was a little wet outside, but they still had fun.
Thank you to everyone who pledged Mr C. His school raised almost $8000 .....What an amazing amount. I think the online pledging really helped the school pass their goal. A big thanks to Auntie Dorothy who pledged online....That was so cool when C got the email! Also thanks to Auntie J and Uncle G,and Grama.

I love hummingbirds

They are back! And hungrier than ever. I could watch them for hours. And when it's raining they all fight over the feeder. We have no flowers yet ,so keeping the feeder full is a Must!

A little Catch UP!!

I'm so far behind and so many pictures to go through!
Grama and Gramps have been here! We love it when they come. My mom baked bread and cinnamon buns..like we needed to eat more! She also brought her sewing maching and was quilting too. My dishes were always done. Dinner was made.....it was Heaven!!! And we all got to hang out together.
Mom and C made a quilt! Yes C was sewing! And his quilt is pretty cool, with flames and skull material. He did a great job!

And this was when C got off the bus one day. I love this picture.

And they also hung out with Grampa too. This was out in the back yard the day grampa arrived. (Grama had come a 5 days earlier cuz gramp had to work)
We had a great time , but had to kick them out last friday . We headed to Vancouver for a really quick soccer camp. Those pics are still in my camera....I will get to them soon!

Grampa's New Ride

While Mom and Dad were here, Mike brought home this HOT ride, so him and grampa could go for a cruise. They weren't gone long, I thought for sure they would be cruisin' the highschool trying to pick up chicks...no luck, Maybe next time Grampa...hahaha
