Here Ya Go MAMA!!

HI Mom! Here are some photos for you, sorry I have been busy..you know ...running your grandkids to the soccer field and golf course...Geeez, get off my back already..hahahahah

Took this picture of Corb last WEdnesday at soccer practice. Notice the nice allergy eyes, ahhhh spring is here
And a shot of Mike, who doesn't cooperate very much, he ignores me when the camera comes out. The light was so nice that evening. And look how green the grass is!
And these 2 of Log, coming off the field in 100 mile house on Sunday. Corbin took both of these, they were the best pictures of the day

You can't even tell that their team just lost 10-0! Yikes! But they won the first game 1-0

Fifteen

Only one more year and you will be driving! How did that happen? Watching you grow into a fine young man fills us with pride.

Took this on the deck yesterday after school, on the actual birthday.

Thanks to Gord and Jay for coming up for cake and tea. It wouldn't be a birthday celebration without you both here.

It's all about the rides

On our last day, the coldest day, maybe 15C we decided to ride the water rafts . Logan decided he was not getting his shoes wet or his clothes. So he sat on the side and laughed at us as we got soaked. We made him take the picture afterwards. The people we rode with were excited about getting wet and decided to help the ride along by bouncing us.
and this one is Mike and Corb after splash mountain. Sorry about the blurry shot, hard to hold the camera still when you are laughing. Logan and I didn't get wet, but I sat in the 3rd spot and Logan in the 4th spot..no water there. Thanks to Corb for taking the front for me.

california screammer!! Yes I was taking pictures while we rode the rides. Mike and I were in front, so much fun, I think we rode this one 8 or 9 times in 3 days. One of our favorites that for sure.

And Mike and Logan, last day, I'm suprised they even stopped and let me take this photo :)

Corb on the Tea Cups, this is one of my favorite shots. I made him go on the tea cups with me, then he made it spin so fast I thought I was going to get sick

I have kinda missed a steps along the way. Like the soccer part. I will get there soon.

Sometimes it's ok to take Snap Shots !

Because , no one wants to carry around a camera bag , when you are suppose to be having fun!
this was at 7 am before the park opened, that is why there was no people around. So I asked both the boys to stand in their letters .

And these are really snap shots!! People eating huge burritos at Chipotle's . Erica took us there for Lunch. She said we weren't leaving California without eating at Chipotle's , she was right it was sooooo good! Look at the size of those burritos!! HUGE!

Thank you Erica Murphy!! For driving us into Anaheim from Laguana beach, you are so kind! And so fun. we all loved you. this is the only picture I have of Erica...LOL

and this shot of Logan, with a burrito the size of his head! Yep he ate the whole thing. Like the tree coming out of his head. that is just wrong!

So , even though these pictures are not the best, they remind us of the great time we had :)

Day 2 , leaving on a jet plane

This was a shot through the glass at our gate , in Seatac. A cloudy dark day for sure, but we didn't care, we were all excited. Once on our plane, it was only 2 hours and we would be in the sun in Lagauna Beach.

A little bit of topaz

Logan on his I-pod, you have no idea how my kids love free wifi. Yes we aren't home , but we can still talk to our friends while they are in school

And Mike and Corb. Mike on the laptop, I'm sure he was looking to see if there was a cache in the airport. Not this time Mike ;) (We love the mini laptop, it is the coolest)

So now I have to upload the point and shoot, I know that Corbin took some great shots from the plane, and I would like to keep this in order, as much as I can.

Lots of News, We are finally home

We left the morning of March 31st, we drove to Vancouver to catch our flight. It was the boys first time on a plane, first time outside of Canada, first time through customs. It was a trip full of first. We left Vancouver April 1st, and flew into Seattle and then on to Orange County (John Wayne Airport). We arrived at our hotel at 5pm....and this is what was across the street.
PARADISE! Laguana Beach, what a beautiful place, it was clean and pretty. The ocean and the waves were amazing, and it was cold! But that didn't stop a bunch of crazy Canadians from going swimming (I have pictures to prove it!)

But for right now , I will just show you the beach. Because it was so spectacular, I could have spent hours or days just sitting and watching the waves, but there wasn't much time for that , a fourteen year old boy was there to play soccer, with his new team.

More to come, I have uploaded my camera, this may take a while. I think I will do it in sections.
We did have a wonderful time, played and watched soccer, met some nice people , and went and saw Mickey mouse, and had our first Earthquake! I told you there were a bunch of firsts.
